The first steps in Lindenberg

In 1976, Werner Mauderer decided to found a company specialised in producing aluminium ladders.
Back then and with just two men, he realised his project in a former hat factory in Lindenberg. Only four years later, new premises were required. And so the first production facility was built on today's site, which was extended in the following years by two additional halls.

It all began with an aluminium ladder.

MAUDERER immediately caused a sensation as a producer of aluminium ladders. The product range was gradually extended, first with mobile scaffolding, then loading ramps and finally aluminium container staircases. It wasn’t long before the area of special designs was also covered by MAUDERER. As a certified welding specialist company (according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000), MAUDERER started producing special designs for the industry from the mid-nineties onwards. Beginning of 2013, Frank Mauderer, the founder’s eldest son, took over as managing director.

"Made by Mauderer" - Made in the Allgäu

At present, around 70 employees work at the two plants in Lindenberg. With a clear commitment to the production site in the Allgäu region. MAUDERER relies entirely on the qualification of its local employees. Well-trained welding personnel is the prerequisite for first-class quality in aluminium processing.
