Precision at its highest and perfect implementation are what make Mauderer Alutechnik from Lindenberg stand out in the field of aluminium welding. For 35 years, Mauderer has built up its reputation as a component supplier in the aeronautic industry. The certified, highly qualified personnel produces thin-walled welding components from aluminium alloys in aeronautic quality.
Thin-walled tube-components from Mauderer can be found for instance in air conditioning systems for aircraft from Airbus or Bombardier. Thanks to Mauderer´s know-how in aluminium processing they can produce tube components with tightest tolerances and bending-radii. Pore-free welding of the special aluminium alloys is possible due to a special gas-mixture. Another benefit of the Mauderer aluminum welding is the cost advantage compared to aluminum castings for aerospace-specific small and medium-sized production lots. Furthermore, welded tube components are lighter than aluminium castings.
In addition to the multi-level aluminum processing, Mauderer also performs pressure and leakage tests and a 100-percent non-destructive testing of welds. Thus the customer receives final assembled components, including all required certificates and comprehensive documentation.
Mauderer fulfils not only DIN EN ISO 9001, but also DIN EN ISO 9100, the quality management norm for air and space travel. “With the certification according to DIN EN ISO 9100 we furnish proof that our processes and structures comply to all requirements set out in the realm of the aeronautic industry,” says managing director Norbert Lang. ”As a supplier for the large aircraft manufacturers it is reliability and competence that count. Besides welded components fort the aeronautic industry Mauderer also offers its welding expertise in other areas. The company holds a licence for the patented aluminium welding procedure AGL-DC. This innovative procedure enables the maintenance and repair of even very thick-walled or heavily damaged aluminium components.
